Plot Description:

Something Wicked This Way Comes is a 1962 dark fantasy novel by Ray Bradbury about two boys, Jim Nightshade and Will Halloway, who confront a sinister, magical carnival that arrives in their Midwestern town of Green Town, Illinois, just before Halloween. The carnival, led by the mysterious Mr. Dark, preys on people's secret desires, offering wishes in exchange for their life force.

 

Casting the following roles:

Mr. Cooger (also puppeteers young Robert and Mr. Electrico)

Along with Mr. Dark, Mr. Cooger is in charge of the carnival. He is pure evil, and he pretends to be Miss Foley's nephew Robert in order to get her to ride on the carousel. Mr. Cooger also tries to get Jim to ride on the merry-go-round, and if not for Will he would have succeeded. Although he is dangerous and cunning, Mr. Cooger is too old to do anything after Will messes up his carousel ride. Minimal lines, looking for an experienced puppeteer.
